General Information
The Borough of Haworth is located in the most northeastern part of New Jersey and has a population of over 3,000. Haworth is a small, quiet town that offers a post office, a few stores, banks, and three houses of worship. Haworth’s prides itself on the local dedication to community service. The borough revolves on its volunteers, from the Fire and Ambulance Squads, the Recreation Commission, the Mayor and Councilpersons, and more. The community is most proud of their tradition of volunteerism and community spirit.

Haworth Parks & Recreation
Haworth GolfingHaworth offers a lot in the line of parks and recreation. The community features some of the best baseball and softball fields in the tri-valley area. There are also four outdoor tennis courts available on a permit basis to residents. Haworth also offers an indoor private tennis club. Other recreational organizations include a swim club, platform tennis, and two private golf courses.
White Beeches Country Club
The White Beaches Country Club is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere and members. White Beaches is where you will find friendships and camaraderie that will last a lifetime. Architect Walter Travis designed the White Beaches golf course that was laid out in 1915. The golf course is known for its playability and can be enjoyed by players of all levels of skill. The clubhouse features several dining facilities, including a bar. The Club is justly proud of its cuisine, from its informal fare to its five-star dinners.
Haworth Country Club
The golf course at Haworth Country Club opened officially in 1965. The course was designed by renowned designer Toscana Filenti and attracted nearby metropolitan businessmen seeking outdoor enjoyment, and was welcomed by the community as an addition to the landscape. The club also features tennis and driving range facilities, a fine dining room, conference room, private guest lounge, and bar.
